چکیده

Abstract Antibiotics are widely used to treat various diseases. However, growing evidence indicates that antibiotic therapy in human life increases the incidence of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Therefore, we need appropriate methods reduce or symptoms IBD. In this study, lincomycin hydrochloride construct a gut microbial dysbiosis model mice, and then, constructed an ulcerative colitis (UC) model. Meanwhile, Lactobacillus plantarum A3 from equine UC mice with dysbiosis. The results showed had little effect on small microbiota but more destructive large intestin. alleviated which was reflected its significantly reduced spleen index activity (DAI) ( p < 0.05), inhibited shortening colon invasion cells colon. Moreover, found it played mitigatory role by inhibiting oxidative stress regulating cytokines mice. At same time, restored diversity composition colonic increased abundance beneficial bacteria such as Blautia Akkermansia 0.05); Notably, concentrations arachidonoyl ethanolamide phosphate (AEA-P) cortisone 0.05) have analgesic anti-inflammatory effects. conclusion, our study has potential regulate

Lactobacillus plantarum LP-Onlly alters the gut flora and attenuates colitis by inducing microbiome alteration in interleukin-10 knockout mice

The association between inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and gut microbes has been widely investigated. Our previous study demonstrated that Lactobacillus plantarum LP‑Onlly (LP) applied as a probiotic altered the gut flora and attenuated colitis in interleukin (IL)‑10 knockout (IL‑10‑/‑) mice. In the present study, metagenome sequencing was performed to investigate the gut microbiome in IL‑10‑...

Altered human gut dendritic cell properties in ulcerative colitis are reversed by Lactobacillus plantarum extracellular encrypted peptide STp.

SCOPE The human/microbiota cross-talk is partially mediated by bacteria-derived peptides like Serine-Threonine peptide (STp), which is resistant to gut proteolysis, is found in the human healthy colon and induces regulatory properties on gut dendritic cells (DCs); here we characterized human gut DC in ulcerative colitis (UC) patients and studied the effect of STp on their properties. METHODS ...

Intake of Blueberry Fermented by Lactobacillus plantarum Affects the Gut Microbiota of L-NAME Treated Rats

Prebiotics, probiotics, or synbiotics can be used as means to regulate the microbiota to exert preventative or beneficial effects to the host. However, not much is known about the effect of the gut microbiota on hypertension which is a major risk factor of cardiovascular disease and also a symptom of the metabolic syndrome. The N(G)-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME) induced hypertensive ra...

Green tea powder and Lactobacillus plantarum affect gut microbiota, lipid metabolism and inflammation in high-fat fed C57BL/6J mice

UNLABELLED BACKGROUND Type 2 diabetes is associated with obesity, ectopic lipid accumulation and low-grade inflammation. A dysfunctional gut microbiota has been suggested to participate in the pathogenesis of the disease. Green tea is rich in polyphenols and has previously been shown to exert beneficial metabolic effects. Lactobacillus plantarum has the ability to metabolize phenolic acids. ...

Fecal microbiota in pouchitis and ulcerative colitis

AIM To investigate the changes in microbiota in feces of patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) and pouchitis using genomic technology. METHODS Fecal samples were obtained from UC patients with or without an ileal pouch-anal anastomosis (IPAA) procedure, as well as healthy controls. The touchdown polymerase chain reaction technique was used to amplify the whole V3 region of the 16S rRNA gene, ...
